Thank you all very much!
Okay, I am confus.
Maybe in the future I will understand.
Yeah, that’s the problem with webcomics that actually have a story. You gotta wait to see what happens next. 😛
Wait! did she just see her reflection and it looked back.
Is that her reflection in her eyes?
So we are going the Darth Vader route? I approve…. Few comics are willing to take the risk and create a true anti-hero willing to challenge our more superficial versions of good and evil. It feels like SW may be going down this path less taken, and that really makes it feel fresh and worthwhile.
I don’t quite think its the Darth Vader route. Remember that the first few strips showed Ezmeralda as a leader of the Star Warriors. We are looking back at her first mission after dying as a fox kit and transforming to a non corporeal humanoid form.
Given that this first mission involves helping the man who killed her and who has been slaughtering her kind, the desire for revenge is natural. She may see something in this vision that changes her mind. I wonder if Rubiline will have a role to play.
I’m half surprised that Azure hasn’t pointed out that, as predators, foxes kill other creatures to survive, it may be no different than what this human that killed her does.
As a farmer he’s certainly heard the phrase “…a fox in a hen house.”
